Don't have a DS, but I think both have been strong. I've been very happy with PSP library this year, it's been much more consistent throughout the year and many more high profile releases. Last year all were released in the beginning of the year, and there was nothing left by the end.
I don't think I've even played a game released in 2009yet actually, I've been playing catchup. From 2009 I want Half-Minute Hero, Chinatown Wars, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe, LittleBigPlanet, Arctic Edge, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, Resistance: Retribution, SOCOM 3, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and either Soul Calibur or Tekken 6, maybe Dissida - I want 1 fighting game.
