When I was 13 I had my tonsils removed exactly when Siltent Hill and Ape escape came out. It was THE BEST time I ever had (ok 2nd to MGS) on my PSX.
That said though, RE3 is also one of my all time fav's. OMG REmake on the GC had the best graphics EVER at the time. I showed the intro movie to some friends and they couldn't believe it.
I don't like RE5 at all. Bring back the mansions I say. Still...
I'd have to go Resi Evil, but it was very, very close.
