The kid wants to be so popular, it's kind of sad to be unpopular in real and in the internet.

Those are the kids who become porn star later in life.

He wants to be really popular on the internet because he is so un-popular in the real world, probably doesn't have many friends at school and doesn't get many lady friends. Well, least thats what I gathered. (No offense intended :P)
