@carl....

if that happens I expect an adjustment next year.... it makes no sense for the 360 not to get a boost in the US.

so i'll be right eventually.

but by the way.... I was talking holidays... not november.... just so you know.

I doubt there will be any major adjustment, 360 had the $100 gift card thing last week and MW2 this week. Nothing next week that could warrant a boost.

MW2 boosted it this week. So the Holiday boost (which is starting already) should nulify the MW2 boost dropoff, whereas it would have been much lower this week if MW2 hadn't launched.

But... We will see

We'll have to wait for next year and look at all the sales since November to see if Walmart offer + MW2 partially ate otherwise successive Xmas sales (didn't it happen with Halo 3 release?).

@Netyaroze: despite the low share for a market leader, Wii has the highest sales ever for a leader in its first 3 years. Even staying under its best sales YoY, it will beat PSOne easily and PS2 with a little more effort, but not so difficult anyway, during its lifespan. Wii games offer is again getting more complete and atttractive at a good pace, this, added to the new lower price, will work quite well against further sales drops for a while, >80million by 2010 end is a reasonable minimum goal.
