In all fairness, the story-driven Nintendo games usually involve Nintendo taking the same story and driving it straight into the ground. They re-tell the same story over and over again. That's not to say I don't love them but it's hardly innovative stuff. |
really? I find the story in Fire Emblem to be quite different to Zelda, to Advance Wars, etc. You have to remember that story telling is not exactly a very innovative art, especially in video games. I wouldn't call Nintendo pioneers in story telling, but they're definitely not the worst out there.
