If this is true, its something I didn't hear. But it would make sense. Shortly after announcing the 360 version however, they detailed how the 360 version would have differences than the PS3 version (though not specifying what differences). Pointing to possible graphical deterioration or even some alternate content between the games due to the different amount of memory on the 360 disk. They also threw out the possibility that the PS3 version might feature some extras that the 360 version may not like dual audio (Japanese and English voices) as well as additional content that won't fit on the 360 disk. But I guess all of this could have changed by now. The game has been stalled so long and was still in development for well over a year and a half since the E3 announcement it would be on the 360. |
The compression technology used for sound & cutscene will be different and the game will come in 3 disk, thats about the only difference thats gonna happen with this game other than some minor graphical quirks due to porting.
The PS3 version LOST the bloody Japanese audio thanks to parity issue (I'm still pissed at that) there is no difference between the 2 version. This game will easily top 3 million on the 360, its been the flagship of RPG for 5 years now, older than this gen, I have full confidence.
