The halo franchise going downhill?

I did hate the flood in Halo 2/3. I loved them in Halo: CE. Just when you think the game was ending, a new different enemy is introduced... and it changed everything. They didn't have the same... je nais se quios... in Halo 2/3.

I don't know... I thought it was pretty badass when you and the flood are attacking the last prophet in Halo 3. The flood finale with the warthog and the road falling appart was kinda "been there done that" tho.
