Yikes! 60% seems awfully, awfully high.

So does 16%....

Hell even 6% is high for nintendo.

Totally a biased study.

Well, yeah, 360 rate remains high by comparison, but 60% has to be way too high surely?  I figure that, as often happens, the survey attracted more responses from those who've suffered a failure (after all, it's more tempting if you see the survey to say 'me too' than 'not me') and hence skewed high, I suspect the 360 skewed the highest followed by PS3 with Wii of course coming out the most reliable.

Oh yeah.  Couldn't agree more... wonder if it's exagerrated via ratio, or just all over the map.

The actual ratios don't seem like they'd be far too off.

360 being 3-4 more times likely to break then a PS3 which is 2-3 times more likely to break then Wii.

Probably just all over the map though.

My PS3 and Wii are often on 8-9 hours a day and neither has failed.

Neither has my 360 but it's had much less of a workload, more likely to use it for short bursts of gaming.

I suspect:

1 - the order is correct (D'Huh obviously)

2 - the ratios between consoles are probably not too far out

3 - the percentages are too high, particularly for 360

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
