Didn't he say his wife actually disliked this? I also found the noise very irritating in the past when owning the console. For example my girlfriend sometimes sleeps in the living room while watching a movie, I couldn't game then even with a headphone on, it would make too much noise while inserting a disc. It would absolutely wake her up.
