It has been mention even in PS days that as game consoles bring in more money the more people pirate music. While PS was a huge success for Sony yet at the same time they noticed they took a hit in music sales. Another example, consoles have hurt aquarium sales. The simple fact is people only have so much money. When one company bring in more cash another loses. Probably the huge success of DS had a lot to do with the piracy on the PSP.
