it means they refuse to change any settings, if its prompted to change the brightness before the game starts theyll change the brightness if not theyll complain on how dark it is.

I'm too used to graphics cards coparisons where they play the game in a variety of settings. I.e. changing resolution or AA.

I guess it's too much to do both an out of box and also a best settings comparison.

Also do they describe where they get some of the clips from and what they're of? In some cases PS3 has more tearing and some cases X360 have more tearing... but what's more important is how much time you spend in each environment.
