I wouldn't blame them for being upset about it.
I personally didn't kill anyone until the people with guns showed up and started firing at me. Instead, I had fun shooting the environment until we made our way outside.
The luggage bags spewed clothes everywhere when you shot them, lol. I feel sad for the TV's too... I made sure every one was destroyed.
