Ugh this is tiring.... Especially with the test settings. They say they want to get out of the box settings, but people use these results as the final word. Thus, why not make sure things like brightness/contrast and HDMI settings (RGB full for example) are set?
The PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 looked great on our HDTV and a little tweak of the brightness gave a nice difference from great colors to adding that grayish look as the cost of being able to see more in dark areas.
