For most cases, Metascore is a very good indication of the overall quality of the game. Unfortunately reviewers buy into the hype and that's when the score doesn't really reflect the quality of the game. But seeing as this game wasn't hyped at all, we shouldn't have to worry about that.

My favorite game is sitting at a cool 82. It is much better than a whole bunch of crap that scored higher then it.

That's when subjectivity comes in. For example, you may not like first-person shooters, but that doesn't mean that HL2 was a bad game.

You also have to think. It also has 6 reviews. It is almost impossible to judge the quality of a game based on six reviews. IF we are going to use Metacritic then you might as well add both 1 and 2 up and then average them out. I see a 92-93 Metacritic average. Because if we are going to use Metacritic to judge quality then this can't be better than the sum of its parts

The numbers are only one part of Metacritic. It ranks the game based on its overall quality in comparison to current standards. The other part is the qualitative reviews. These should be read and one must judge whether or not it's their type of game.
