Patience is not a common virtue present in everybody...
Look at it that way ;
"I'm broke, I must buy some food and clothes...but I want to play too...
Should I wait or...wait, there's a torrent of the game right in front of my screen! Everyone does it, so why shouldn't I? Those devs will make profit from other people..."
This is a scenario I imaged for someone who likes to play PC games.
Selfishness, greed and lust(?).
