ironman - you have no clue what you are talking about. My point is even though Sony doesn't have the biggest chunk of Blu-ray royalties they have the most to gain and gain the most from it. They are the only company that makes A. Blu-ray discs. (You know what they put the movies on? Yeah... if its a Sony disc Sony is already getting more money than everyone else with royalties) B. Blu-ray players. And C. A movie studio that massively supports blu-ray. I love how you conveniently only single out blu-ray players when all along ive been mentioning 3 things. Sony doesn't need to split their profits from Discs, players, or movies to the people with a stake in Blu-ray like you are suggesting.

Let me know if I am reading this right, ok?

You reckon Sony are the only ones making BD physical discs for movies? They are the only ones making BD players? They are the movie studio that is supporting BD the most?

Now, I apologise if I have read this wrong. If I have read it right, all I can say is that you are blatantly wrong.
