ironman - you have no clue what you are talking about. My point is even though Sony doesn't have the biggest chunk of Blu-ray royalties they have the most to gain and gain the most from it. They are the only company that makes A. Blu-ray discs. (You know what they put the movies on? Yeah... if its a Sony disc Sony is already getting more money than everyone else with royalties) B. Blu-ray players. And C. A movie studio that massively supports blu-ray. I love how you conveniently only single out blu-ray players when all along ive been mentioning 3 things. Sony doesn't need to split their profits from Discs, players, or movies to the people with a stake in Blu-ray like you are suggesting.
