I don't know McL's budget, if they hire Kimi it's because they know they can afford him, so I don't have to worry.
And I don't think I have to prove Kimi's better driver than Button, everyone knows that. Damn, just look at the seasons they both won, Kimi won a championship with a car that was clearly inferior to the McL during all the season, and he still managed to beat both of them, Button won the season by carrying the success of the first seven races, where his car was leagues ahead of all the others, and when the playing field leveled he never won a race again
