Seems like more and more people feel that they should get things for free. Especially if they feel the item doesn't live up to their arbitrary expectations.

Exactly.  And all they are going to do by pirating it, rather than just not buying it, is give developers more of an excuse to move development to consoles or implement even more DRM.

^ Well the 360 still have 220.000 pirated downloads. So at the moment, i'd say they give developers more of an excuse to move development to the PS3 rather than to "consoles", if your point would claim any value. But yes, i understand what you're saying. Piracy on PC is a problem according to developers.

Still, i think it's not only the Pirate's to blame. I think the platform where games are distributed also needs a look-over, much like the Movie and Music industries are working on. Now services like iTunes, Spotify and Voddler exsists, that delivers a great service where users actully feel its worth coughing up money.

I mean... take MW2 as an example. They go out with info that MW2 for PC is going to get matchmaking instead of dedicated servers. And the PC community feels that this will never work. Had IW released a PC demo, alot of PC gamers might've found out that they could still make it work, i.e they go out and buy the game on release day. But in this case IW drops a bomb, the community is in outrage, and IW just continue on with their everyday life, and later blames the PC community for having a piracy problem.

MW2 360 is well on its way to outselling the top selling PS3 game to date (and is outselling MW2 PS3) and you want to use it as an example of why developers would want to move game development to the PS3 and exclude the 360 and PC?  Please tell everyone you're joking before they start thinking you're a Sony drone living in a fantasy world.
