A quick note about Lost Odyssey hype, marketing and such, since we're starting to rail back to the greatness of X360 RPGs:

Microsoft hasn't really *needed* to hype LO a whole bunch with a end-game marketing blitz (remember, it still has 3 weeks to launch). I don't think many people here realize that Lost Odyssey has recieved alot of hype/marketing since 2005.

Lost Odyssey has been announced, and hyped since May 05. The fact is, the game has been hyped for a very, very long time. You might not see deafening hype, but I don't think it needs it - we've seen playable demos since last year. Pack-ins have already been announced, and Sakaguchi has been hyping it alot too. Also, Lost Odyssey has been on the Famitsu Most Wanted list (in the top 10) for longer than most any other title (sans FFXIII and RE5)...Which is proof that the game is embedded in most RPG gamers in Japan.

Also, fyi, Blue Dragon was announced the same time (pre-E3) as Lost Odyssey. BD didn't have this whole extra year of hype and userbase....And we know how great it did in Japan for the X360's userbase.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
