Nowhere does it state that the total includes the psp. It seems more possible that it could include the ps2 and the ps3 but I highly doubt that it includes the sony handhelds as well.

Bloomberg.com found out from Sony Computer Entertainment corporate spokesperson Kimberly Otzman that the 100,000 actually was inclusive of all PlayStation consoles, which we would assume means PS2 and PSP as well – not so impressive.

I don't see what's open to interpretation. The Sony spokesperson says the number covers all Playstation consoles.

 

Many people don't count handhelds as consoles. I think 100k for all Sony platforms is ridiculous, since that would indicate about a 25% drop in sales from the previous weeks. Not likely.

100k for PS2 and PS3 combined makes a lot more sense for this quote.
