johnytesta is from Argentina..... Not being a native English speaker is going to affect his comprehension of what is being said AND being from a different culture is going to SIGNIFICANTLY affect what he takes from the music lyrically (missing out on alot of the wordplay, pop culture (and in the case of Illmatic) historical references, and not understanding what was going on in America at the time and the where the artist's were coming from do you think he would know why NWA are screaming fuck the police?) All he's going to hear when he listens to any of those albums are the cusswords. Just as one might research what was going on at the time in England to better appreciate the Satire in Gulliver's travels, it helps immensely to understand the social situation of Black America to better understand why these artist's are saying what they say.
