But that means you not only have to take the rights of the Catholic Church, but of the people who donated money specificly to the Church. You cannot force people to donate money to something they didn't want to (it'll be like if you wanted to donate to the WHO, but it went to the Salvation Army or something). And just having money alone won't fix world hunger.
