Sounds to me like they are using that as a cop out not to make more varied mechs.... -They are also using the story as a cop out for making very few weapons it seems... -They are trying to make a PC mechwarrior game and then fittig it on the 360, that makes me happy The biggest thing that annoys me is that they keep saying "we don't have a publisher yet so we will see how this flies" which translates to me "we'll make the game play like shit as long as it gets sold." Also MechWarrior's DLC was actually DLC worth purchasing head, shoulders, and torso above what today's DLC is. For now I'm hopeful and disappointed and skeptical still of this move. |
RPG elements can mean anything and almost every game in existence today has some classic "RPG" elements just like RPG's have inhereted elements from other genres. We have enough brain dead FPS mech games already and guess what? They all sucked. I welcome something with RPG elements especially if that means a better story, more techinical details, and better control over your mech design and operation.
