See thats the problem with pirating this game on PC as a form of silent protest of IW boneheaded decision to turn their backs on PC gamers, the very people that made CoD popular. All IW will see when they notice the number of torrent downloads (and believe me, they'd be keeping an eye on it) will be vindication in their decision to prioritise develop to the console versions and just give PC gamers a direct 360 port.
As an ex-PC gamer, I may or may not of pirated a few PC games in the past, but if the game was great, I'd always go out and buy it to support the developers. I may or may not do the same thing with music. If the game was shite, then I wouldn't buy it. Not saying its right or acceptable, but if developers saw piracy and low game sales as a sign that the game wasn't worth buying instead of a sign that it was a good decision to take shortcuts in the games development, then I think sales would increase.
