Bad news about your 360.
Rather pathetic some of the posts here going off at the 360. This is a request for assistance, not someone asking for criticism of their electronic purchases.
1. If you have good consumer protection laws in your country/state you might be able to get MS to fix for free even if outside warranty.
2. If you don't have good consumer protection laws and you are outside 1 yr warranty then I'd keep playing until I got the real RROD to qualify for the 3yr warranty.
3. If you really want it fixed now and you are outside warranty and you don't have good consumer protection laws then I guess you will have to pay.
3. To manage your HDD space on your PS3 get a bigger HDD. They are pretty cheap and it's easy to swap them out. I'm assuming you don't have a 500gig HDD. If you do you can still get 1TB HDd and themn double your space. I imagine the backup for 500Gig of data is ridiculously slow. It took about 1/2 hour for me to back up 20 Gig for when I swapped my 80Gig for a 160Gig HDD.
