VC is an SRPG, not an JRPG, and is more of a niche game, although I own it and it is as great as they say, VC is also a new I.P, whereas FF is not and will sell loads of copies.
Also I am one of the many people who own Lost Odysee, I only got it because back then the PS3 had no RPG's period and I needed my RPG fix.
