For years I have been searching for the name of this cartoon but have not been sucessful.I vividly remember some details of the show.Perhaps one of you guys will help me,to finally find the name of the cartoon.Here are some details I remember:
Background:The Cartoon was part of "The Cartoon Cartoon Show" which would later be called "What a Cartoon".It was broadcasted by Cartoon Netwok in the 90's.In fact it is just an animation short. The show was divided in blocks each feature a animating short by different creators.For example:
Story:The plot revolves around a space ship.A boy finds a alien inside his can of soda.The can contains a alien,which proceeds to infiltrate into the boy's body.The crew in the space ship panics.Therefore they try to prevent him from dying.In the end the boy explodes and the crew is grieved by his death.But then the crew is astonish to find that when the boy's body blew up into pieces a hot alien chick appeared.Immediately the captain tries to hit on her.But then the crew discovers the the boy is inside this hot alien chick.And then alien asks the captain something like "Do you want to join with me,until my next mutation?".Although this quote is not precise enough.The alien says something along those lines.Mainly the alien wants to use the captain body as a host in order for the alien to survive.
Art style:The art style is similar to the one in the animated series "The Grimm adventures of Billy and Mandy".In fact the main character looks just like Billy.He is green and has a big nose,spiky hair and wears a space suit.I cannot remember the other characters well.But the captain had black hair and a Elvis esque hair style.The alien girl was blue and very attractive.
Lenght:Just like the other shorts.I assume the the short is roughly of 7-9 minutes.The whole show was half and hour.And so there were other cartoons too.
Final thoughts:Please anyone if you know something just post it here.It does not matter if you are unsure.Also spread the word.Contact a friend and see if he know something.I have find other animation shorts from the "What a cartoon show" but no this one.I have been looking for a long time know and I REALLY wish to know the name.This animation short means a lot to me since it inspired me to come up with my own characters and have and interest in cartoons in general.
