I got a 37" LG 1080p just before Xmas 08, and it's been fantastic. It cost €699 here (Ireland) I think at the time, but I believe it's down around €499 or something now. Defintely worth checking out.
I've just checked their site, and they don't seem to have the same one I got. They seem to now have a lot of 200hz TVs with USB Ports, but this one seems to be an upgraded version of mine (with a funky colour border put in): http://www.lge.com/uk/tv-audio-video/televisions/LG-lcd-tv-37LH7000.jsp
