Firmware and patches. Do not like.
On one hand, they do fix major game-breaking bugs, but on the other, it gives an excuse for devs to release games with those game-breaking bugs. Sell us the finished product, please. There's nothing worse than bringing a game to a friend's house to provide some entertainment, only to be denied playing for over 30min due to stupid patches...
I don't need my console as some sort of multimedia system. That's what my laptop is for.
Handhelds are an exception. As much as I love my DS, it can't do everything say, an iPod Touch can do. This can be problematic because carrying multiple devices can be a pain - the devices compete for my limited pocket space.
