That is my game consoles. They just work with games. With the PC I have seen the following:
1. Graphic glitches that ended up being a graphics card I bought MONTHS earlier. It wasn't like the RROD, but took months to figure out.
2. Viruses.
3. Failure of games to work, because of driver issues.
4. An inability to play the Beyond the Sword expansion for Civilization, because of anti-piracy protection that makes it impossible to read the expansion disk.
Do you want other former PC gamers to tell you why they aren't PC gamers any longer? I could also go into the lack of game genres action gamers want to play. In areas where the PC is good, and consoles are lacking, they tend to be in overabundance. Stuff like RTS for example, and massive-multiplayer online, and moddable FPS. You also have flash and garage games. Beyond that, if someone is a fighting game fan, they don't have too many choices. The number of big budget title genres has shrunk on the PC.
