For what KZ2 renders, the engine is amazing.  But other games do render different things, and can be argued to be superior in different ways.  Take Crysis, for example.  Someone comes on here and actually posts that KZ2 blows it away, or is superior.  All you have to do is go, "You kidding me?".  And the MW2 engine also does things diferently, and looks good.  Uncharted 2 also looks real good.  Again, each game renders different things. 

Do you think that the next Gran Turismo won't be a looker either?  Well, it will be, but it will render different things than KZ2.

show me the link, because thread we had everyone states crysis it's superior.

from the technical point of view only a cry engine 3 can be label as better, though it uses the same deffered redenring tech as killzone 2. yet killzone 2 graphics are insane and above anything on console right now.

from lighting, particles effects, animations and overall graphics.

No matter haw many polygons Crysis pushes the presentation of Killzone 2 will always be better because the producers had the time and the money to pay attention to little details (such as animation for example).

dude KZ2 looks better than both Crysis and Crysis warhead

Killzone 2 is the best looking FPS of all time when it is in motion. If you take it on screen for screen with Crysis the PS3 just does not have the RAM to be able to compete texture wise. Crysis's problem is once you get those graphics in motion, the horrible animations make for a huge uncanny valley effect. Killzone 2 may very well have the best motion/animation of any game ever made.

Killzone 2 not only sets the bar extremely high in all aspects on the home console, but manages to look better than one of the best looking games on the PC. Guerilla Games has really outdone themselves with a game that is said by many to be genre defining. Although, you don’t have to take my word for it, just Google it to read the impressions of the game being written by other reviewers.
