Not much is known about Rockstar’s new project but we do know it’s one that will most likely emphasize stealth and espionage. Set to release in 2010 and made by the makers of Grand Theft Auto, you already know this is going to be good.

The team at Obsidian seem to have always been in the shadow of fellow developer Bioware it seems that Obsidian will finally be able to strike out on their own with the first ever Stealth Spy-RPG.

Assassin’s Creed

Ubisoft decided way back in 2007 to try their hand with History. In Assassin’s Creed players play as disgraced Assassin Altair as he tries to work his way back up to the top of his Assassin Brotherhood. The game is noted for being the firstStealth game to incorporate social elements.

Assassin’s Creed II

Ubisoft returns again with a sequel to the hit Stealth assassin game Assassin’s Creed II. This time around players play as Nobleman turned assassin Ezio and his quest for retribution and revenge. New gameplay mechanics have also been added for a smoother and better gaming experience.

In what many would call the first true AAA Comic Book Game. Players take control of The Dark Knight as he fights his way across Arkham Island while uncovering the mysteries and defeating the Freaks that have taken over.

Metal Gear Solid 4

Quite possibly the greatest game of all time. With high production values, awesome story, awesome gameplay gamers are taken on one of the most memorable rides ever told as we follow Solid Snake on his last mission.

Sam Fisher is a broken man. With the death of his daughter he is even more damaged. In a new mission Sam must cross the other side and become everything he fought against all these years. With the choice of how the game turns out players set out on what can only be described as an incredible journey through deceit,deception and stealth.

Nathan Drake is a bold man. And his motto is Fortune Favors The Bold. Well it looks like this time around Drake won’t be so lucky. Naughty Dog is back with a sequel to what many recall as the PS3’s best game in 2007. While many will disagree with it’s placement on this list let it be known that Naughty Dog has incorporated a stealth system into the gameplay mechanics. In fact the whole first level is one that emphasizes stealth with severe consequences for players who can’t stay hidden.
