I don't know if the Americanization of the anime killed it for me, since I first saw the english version. I hope for god sake that's not how it is in the Japanese version. Then again, the Americanization of Naruto didn't kill it for me, but that may be partially because a good friend begged and hounded me to check out the Japanese version and it's far superior, so I'm glad he did. |
