Its like going into one piece chatper discussion or spoilers, constantly hearing everyone each week saying OMG epic chapter, ODA is god, ect. really annoying and makes me barely look at them now. I still read though cause its good, and will not shy away form ff13 if its good either. but damn whats with peoples hyping these days. don't you guys realize that sometimes it does more harm than good. |
hype just helps the game sell better but it dosent make that game better than other games that didnt generate hype. MW2 is a perfect example. the game had a tremendous amount of hype but guess wat its nothing special at all and is totally overrated. So yes i can agree with u that hype does hurt a games reputation.
