Will FF13 be the next FF7?

 uhhh not on the handhelds my friend in fact a lot of them sell pretty well there(ex. Crisis core, KH 358/2, Pokemon etc). Plus regardless of what u amy think FFXIII is still pretty big worldwide and is going to sell at least a million in NA on both platforms

Yes, the genre is still very popular on handhelds (which is the dominating platform in JP), but there isn't any JRPG hit 1 million on HD console yet.

and to darthdevidem01, the reason I think it's on decline is lots of less famous JRPGs could hit a million with ease last gen, but games like Last odyssey is yet to reach 0.9 million this gen.

And I believe FF13 is still going to sell extremely well, about 6 million, but won't be as successful as FF7.
