Those are not real opinions. It's frustration.

The game obviously does not deserve such a low score and people are blinded by their emotions (which is not very objective).

The same argument can just as easily be made for all the high scores - people are just be blinded by the hype (or fat cheques from Activision).

Some of them might indeed be based upon hype but you have to look at the majority or reviews and in MW2's case, the reviews are very good so I think it's safe to believe the game is very good.

96/100 on metacritc can't be that wrong.

4-6 hours of singleplayer plus broken multiplayer, that takes about 20 steps backwards from the game's predecessor, that is outclassed by pretty well any major multiplayer game (on PC) from the past decade = AAA?
