What exactly on the planet Helghan is "purdy"?  The place is ugly.  You can talk about how awesome the tech in the KZ2 engine is, but there is little of Helghan that is pretty (purdy).   Well, unless you consider red/orange eyes of the Helghast beautiful.  If you are getting all romantic like this, you might as well watch the Killzone 2: Helghasts in Love Zone:

I did not mean:

Purdy = pink.

And exactly what on Helghan fits that?  Helghan is a fascist dust ball, that is only of value, due to its minerals.  It is as purdy as an old west mining town.  The effects work, and the game engine is technically excellent, for what it is trying to do.  But purdy?  Nothing relating to Helghan or the Helghast relates to that.  Purdy is not part of their value set at all.
