What if some company works with Atlus to fund a massive marketing blitz? That is how FF broke through in the west, and became the bestselling JRPG series.
Frankly, I would not put it past Microsoft to do such.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
