Well personally I see it as another feature that will drag me deeper into the game if it is trully confirmed.
As a huge fan of both 4D Stunt Racing and Trackmania United, I love making different tracks in extremely different layouts to race, as it prolongs the value and replayability of the game even further, plus the community aspect of an option like this is invaluable. Anyone who likes both games that i've mentioned knows how much their community has worked through the years to give us some pretty awesome tracks.
So if GT5 does indeed have a similar feature, then, speaking for myself, it will be pretty much the best racing game i've ever played, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much just yet. Yamauchi talking and hinting about it is good, he could have just denied it completely if the Track Editor was just a silly rumor, but he did just the opposite, yet it was no official confirmation, so far.
Out of topic - I didn't knew that this was posted already, didn't see the thread. Why was it locked?
