Even with Peach, there are tons of Snifits shooting bullets at you, and many people can't handle outrunning Phantos. Also, it seems fewer people know where the warps are in that game, so they end up going through all the hardest levels until they give up, especially in the slippery ice levels or the quicksand levels. It also has the hardest bosses, where you actually have to catch things in mid-air. All the other Mario boss battles are just dodging things and jumping on their heads. For the record, I roll mostly as Luigi and Peach, but yes I've done it Toad only, and it was awesome. |
Not to mention not knowing where to throw the potions to find the mushrooms... or even know the potions create warps.
It's the easiest to beat once you've mastered it... but if your starting out fresh. It can be a lot more challengeing.
I actually found SMB3 the easiest of all those games. Fun story. I went to the Nintendo videogame competition where they were demoing SMB3... and I finished the entire first world without dieing.
Usually they went by dies... but I got through the first level airship and all, so they either turned me off, or thats as far as the demo went.
