You just can't make an MMA game and not have the backing of the UFC. Outside of Fedor, almost every top ranked fighter in any weight class fights for the UFC and won't be a part of this game. Having Randy Couture at the twilight of his career isn't doing much, considering by the time this game releases, he could have three straight losses...or more. Not to mention there's far too many people that think the name of the sport is UFC and not MMA. On top of it, Strikeforce just isn't a big deal right now. The game's success partially weighs on Strikeforces' and that doesn't seem to be happening. |
UFC power is far overraterd by delusional Americans. Hell the world most vieved mma fights did not even happpen in the ufc.
MMA rankings mean shit all, a real mma fan should know that. Even if they do close to half of what are considered top fighters don't fight in the ufc.
Randy is loved by his fans win or lose, he always fights top fighters so no one holds losing agianst him. Capatin America is a fan favorie no matter what.
4 million people watched Strikeforces MMA on cbs, they know now the sport is mma not ufc. Actually striekforce is the big deal right now. With a cbs and showtime deal something UFC faield to achive and a partnership with DreamFC. Strikeforce has quite alot going for it.
