Well, the main reasons for a possible change to Vista were DX10, that seems is not worth the change as Entroper said. In the reviews for Crysis I've seen, they say that even in DX9 the graphics are the best.

And for the other reason, was the performance increase in general computing from 64-bit... but nobody has mentioned that :P

I think I'll try it, buy my prediction is that I will stick to XP for at least 6 months :P

Oh yeah, and I introduce you the GeForce 8800GTS 512MB with G92.

Why in hell they didn't used GDDR4 and named it 8900 is beyond my mind.

That sounds like an 8800 GT to me.  With 512 MB of RAM, it seems they've gone back to a 256-bit interface like the GT, instead of the 320-bit interface like the earlier GTS (otherwise they'd have 320 MB or 640 MB of RAM).  The official specs of the GT call for 600 MHz core and 900 MHz RAM, but MSI has one with 660/950.  I think this is just an overclocked GT.

I've always thought that this GT/GTS/GTX/XT/XP/SE/whatever nonsense was a lot more confusing than it needs to be.  I miss the days of the TNT2 and Voodoo 3, when you could actually remember all the specs of all the cards off the top of your head.

Fazz, as far as 64-bit goes, just look at your hardware and go to each manufacturer's web site to see if they have drivers for Vista 64.  If they don't and you can't live without that device (it's probably a printer) then go with 32-bit.
