I'd say it's a success (the "campaign") if it doesn't appear as #1 any week. after that, it's just a matter of time before 1) the official forums and Steam forums are filled with complaints and people asking for refunds and 2) people go back to MW1. I'm sure there are a good number of players completely oblivious to the changes and they'll be VERY upset once they find out what happened with MW2.
