Samsung passed Sony because they make better TVs and have for a long time.
That and currency issues haven't hurt Samsung like it has Sony.
TV margins are razor thin you know.
Sony isn't dumb... the way they just did buisness was out of style... they're CEO knew it but nobody let him change things.
They weren't the dumbest guys in the room. They were just the most stubborn.
