well.. i tried initially to have her play Metal Gear Solid 4, but she gave me the controller back after 5 minutes. Later, when I asked her why she didn't like it, she said "it felt like a game for old men".

Yeah, MGS4 was the wrong game to try on her. Valkyria on the other hand is fresh and has some ass-kicking female characters in it. I love Rosie, I'm so glad she got over her bigotry, even though it's obvious all along that she would. As long as she doesn't have anything against the Japanese anime style. Some women don't like the big eyes and sharp features of anime.
