At the start of this year my friend and I were on private chat, playing COD 4. Just before the game started, and we were in the lobby with everybody else, he told me that he had to go for a second. Not knowing that he actually left chat, I then said '(in a joking manner of course) argh, don't leave me with these freaks'...... and so everybody heard me..... XD very awkward.
