Sure, in CAN be done.  Just like the PS3 will be hacked soon as well, just like blu-ray is hacked, DVD, CD, etc.  My point is that - were this done correctly in a propriety encrypted format, a flash mem based delivery system would be no less secure than an optical medium.

Digital Distribution and Multiplayer check is the answer imo, for consoles anyways, if you are on PC, well, it's PC.
