the saturn was a hit in japan, but it died off early kinda like the dreamcast. It sold quite well for a while, so the overall numebers could have been much higher if they would have continued to support it for longer. They stopped supporting it because of the failure in the west.
PS3 will probably sell around where the saturn is, somewhere between 5-7 million.
