Seriously, if you neeeeeeeeeeed to play an FPS on the PS3, buy killzone 2, resistance 1/2, bioshock, COD 4, borderlands, or any of a hundred other games. Sometimes games are exclusive, it happens. |
Amen. Multi-platform development makes sense for Valve and I think they might be losing out on a good bit more money by not considering it (checking wikipedia, they have 190+ employees. I think they could do it and make more money). But honestly there is no shortage of FPS on the PS3. You're not gonna die if you can't play Left 4 Dead. Chances are if you can't play Left 4 Dead on your PC, your computer is pretty old and you're probably going to get a new desktop or laptop pretty soon. So just sit tight for awhile. Valve games are pretty reasonable when it comes to spec requirements. They aren't like Crytek nor do they release badly optimized console-to-PC ports that are oh so common this gen. And if it's true that even integrated crappy Intel graphics cards are good enough to play these games, you have no problems if you buy a entry-level laptop.
